About Us:
Southern
States Paranormal Research Society, S.S.P.R.S., is a T.A.P.S. Family group, and as such, holds to the same principles and
guidelines that makes T.A.P.S. a welcome house hold name. SSPRS stands for integrity and professionalism as well as confidentiality
when working cases.
First,
some information on the T.A.P.S. Family.
Whenever
T.A.P.S. gets a case that it cannot personally work due to time or travel constraints, they refer the case to one of the T.A.P.S.
Family groups in the state or nearest to the client requesting aid for assistance with their reported issues. In a way, T.A.P.S.
Family groups are almost like T.A.P.S. branches, but not quite, as each T.A.P.S. Family group retains its own unique identity.
SSPRS
is a scientifically based research and investigation team that uses modern technology and detailed investigation methods to
investigates claims of the paranormal and evaluate them in an unbiased fashion to provide resolution for the clients involved.
Our
methodology is simple; we use still cameras, both digital and film, audio and video recorders and energy meters as well as
various computers and software programs to take measurements and record any type of physical manifestation or anomaly that
may be present in a location.
Typically,
though not always, this takes place over an 8-10 hour investigation, with normal hours running from 8:00PM until 5:00AM. Weekends
tend to work best for our team but we can be flexible as your needs require and within reason. Multiple investigations may
be required.
After
the investigation, we take a 14 day period to review and completely analyze all recordings and data, and at the end of that
14 day period, will have a conclusive report prepared for you. Whenever possible, a face to face review of the report and
findings is desirable and every attempt will be made to set it up, but if not possible, we will conduct the final review via
email or by phone. All evidence is secured in a locked file system and copies will be provided of course, free of charge to
you at your request. Please bear in mind, it may take up to a week to receive such items by standard US Post once requested.
If
SSPRS is unable to provide a resolution, or the clients would like a second opinion, SSPRS is happy to refer them to the appropriate
resource if available in a timely fashion.
Also,
please bear in mind a final investigation is at the sole discretion of SSPRS and your request may be denied.
